England cricket coming to East Bergholt

East Bergholt Cricket Club is hosting one of the social cricketing highlights of the season. An ex-England XI led by Neil Foster will travel to the heart of Constable Country in Suffolk. With more than 400 caps between them, they are genuine Ashes winners, English gentlemen and legends of the game. They will take on an Australian side of aspiring young cricketers who have known nothing but a winning attitude from their fellow countrymen and now they are here to follow suit. Most are semi-professionals, keen to progress and are playing in England to improve themselves and their game. Can old heads overcome young legs?

The Match will take place just days after the final Test match between England and Australia. As the nation once more reaches eurphoria over 'The Ashes', the club will contest its own 'Old Ashes' competition.
