East Bergholt Cricket Club

‘EBCC’ Junior section’s  aim is  to encourage youngsters  to enjoy playing cricket by providing the opportunity to experience training and competitive games  under the guidance of qualified coaches in a safe and enjoyable environment whilst developing ‘able’ cricketers through the Junior Section into the senior teams and beyond.

The Club have achieved CLUBMARK status, an award given by the ‘ECB’ once the Club had satisfied the strict criteria that apply to this scheme. The four main themes detailed below form the basis upon which the Club were assessed:

·         Duty of Care and Safeguarding Children

·         The Cricket Programme

·         Sports Equity and Ethics

·         Club Management

‘CLUBMARK’ accreditation is  acknowledgement that the Club have taken these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming environment within the Club for players and the members.

East Bergholt Cricket Club  are  currently one of only 18 clubs within Suffolk to receive this status and our principle is to continue to provide a safe and fun environment for children of all ages, ability and background to play cricket. For further information please contact :-
